We're back for the 2015 season! This year's theme is PayDirt. More details to come at the Kick-off event this Saturday, September 12. Make your registration official on Eventbrite (same instructions as last year). This site is being updated for the new season right now, so bear with us for a few days. Data here will be current and helpful for you after kickoff this weekend.
Posted by Austin Mullins Teacher training day has come and gone, and while there was a lot of information discussed, I know there many unanswered questions. Many elements of this year's game are guarded secrets that will not be revealed until kickoff, September 13, but there are a few things I hope to clear up right now. Eventbrite: each team needs 1 ticketI got myself confused at the teacher training meeting (this is not an unusual occurrence for me). I started talking about Eventbrite as if we were using it to track the number of participants. We are not. Each team should register for one ticket only. In fact, the rules of the site should prevent you from requesting more than one. Congratulations are in order for Wylie Middle School, as they already figured it out as of this post. There is plenty of time for all of our teams to get registered, so no one is in trouble. The easiest way to get registered is probably to click over to our new BEST 2014 page and use the form there. You can also find us on Eventbrite here. I fully intend to add event postings for our kickoff and practice events, too, so you can use Eventbrite's calendar tools to keep it all straight. BEST Robotics Home Page / Q & AThose are your two biggest resources online. The Q & A is closed to the public, but you will receive a password during the kickoff event.
